COVID-19 update (Oct 2020) - We are currently working on ways to get involved in local conservation given the current restrictions. At the moment, all society engagement and socials will be online, so please keep an eye out for upcoming online events on our Facebook page (search 'LUU Conservation Volunteers'). We may also be promoting local events that you can attend individually on our Facebook page, so make sure to follow us!
If you don't have Facebook and are a society member who would like to be kept in the loop, drop us an email at [email protected] and we'll do our best to keep you updated.
Welcome!
Conservation Volunteers is a Leeds University Union affiliated society aimed at students interested in getting hands on experience of conservation during their time at University. LUUCV acts as a mobile work force; joining various conservation groups for tasks around Leeds, as well as working on our own site on Woodhouse Ridge. We also organise trips throughout the year to help out conservation groups across the UK, while taking a well-earned break from studies and generally having a good time!
LUUCV also organise regular social events, which included Otley Runs, Nature Walks and film nights!
So put on your old clothes, grab your wellies, and come and join LUU Conservation Volunteers.
